Rainforest IMMERSIONS

Where transformation meets the forest.

Intimate Rainforest Journeys Guided by Indigenous Wisdom

— Designed For Those Ready to Return to Stillness, Clarity, and Purpose.

"Feeling the recognition from my brother Nato, beyond words... made me understand the power of this ancestral connection. It's something I will carry forever."
— Trevor Snakedust Indigenous Canadian Artist

A Journey of a Lifetime

The Amazon is not a destination — it’s a living being, a vast organism that breathes, remembers, and teaches. At INSamaúma, we invite you to experience the forest not as a tourist, but as a participant in its rhythm.

Each journey is guided by Indigenous wisdom and rooted in reciprocity — an exchange between people and place that awakens presence, gratitude, and transformation.

The Tapajós River

Where the Tapajós meets the mighty Amazon, crystalline waters flow through ancestral territories and one of the planet’s richest ecosystems.
To the Munduruku people, who call it Ocekadi — “our river, our place” — these waters are sacred.
Here, the forest reveals both beauty and responsibility: to protect, to remember, to act.

The Essence

Each journey is a co-creation with Indigenous guardians of the forest — a bridge between science and spirit, luxury and simplicity, human and Earth. You’ll awaken to the rhythm of the river, share stories by the fire, and reconnect with the ancient wisdom that lives within you. This is not a retreat. It’s a remembrance — of who you are, and what it means to belong to the living world.

Our Commitment

Every experience contributes directly to the Indigenous Empowerment Fund, supporting forest guardians and regenerative projects in the Amazon. When you walk with the forest, you walk for the future.

Our Sacred Impact

Every immersion is an act of reciprocity.

When you join us, you’re not just traveling — you’re helping to sustain the guardians of the forest and their ancestral lands.

A portion of every journey directly supports Indigenous-led projects, from community education and reforestation to improving the quality of life for the families who welcome us.

“You have no idea about the impact of this retreat in my life. With this money, I will be able to put electricity in my house.” — Nato Tupinambá, Borari Shaman from Alter do Chão

Through this circle of giving and receiving, your transformation becomes part of a much larger healing — one that nourishes both people and planet.

“Words cannot begin to describe the experience I had in the Amazon.
I remembered that I am meant to love — that I am meant to listen to the child in me who once called herself a lover. I realized that feeling everything is not a flaw but a gift to be embraced. That I love being around people, that I need more of this in my life — that sharing is everything, and that women can be incredibly powerful. I am returning as another person, yet one I’ve known all along.”
